STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE

The Stewardship Committee works to promote the spiritual well-being of the church members giving of their time, talents and treasures.  According to the Bylaws, the Stewardship Committee shall:

• Consist of a member of the Finance Committee appointed by the Chairperson and at least six (6) Covenant members of the church recommended by the Finance Committee, whose terms shall be for three years except for the initial class wherein two (2) shall be elected for one (1) year, two (2) for two (2) years and two (2) for three (3) years.  Thereafter, two members shall be elected annually.  
• Meet within two (2) weeks after election and shall elect a chair and vice chair.
• Meet at regular intervals and work with the Finance Committee to encourage and facilitate the gifts of the members of the Congregation in terms of their time, talents, abilities and financial support.
• Assist the Finance Committee in the solicitation of pledges of financial support for the functioning of the Church, its Pastors, staff and programs.
